12" iBook. Bought it used from a local guy for $650. He said he got it from a referral program 2 weeks, and it still looks new. Yes it has Tiger.

OS X is going to take some getting used to, but it's cool so far. Now it's time to find cool programs and accessories for my new toy. The airport extreme card is badass.

P.S. The built in speakerss SUUUUCK.

Congrats! I used one for a couple of weeks. Pretty nice little computer (literally). Yeah.. speakers are nothing fantastic. I ended up using headphones quite a bit.

Congrats! Just make sure you get the Tiger DVD from him.

and what do you expect from laptop speakers, Bose surround sound?

Yeah I have the box and everything the iBook came with. I don't expect much from laptop speakers, these are just so bad. You would think for the amount these cost new they could do a little better than crappy headphone speakers. :dunno:

At any rate I'm enjoying the iBook. :)

no, they're still in a laptop that tries to minimize its size.

Keep an open mind, realize it's a little different, and you'll never go back.

i wish they would just stop putting speakers in laptops. save the space and the weight.

    :ugh:

They sure do take up a lot of space and add a tonage of weight.
