I haven't moved in yet, as they are just finishing it up. It was built in '98...they put in brand new carpet, kitchen/bathroom flooring, refaced all the cabinets a dark cherry, brand new stainless steel appliances, black galaxy granite countertops, freshly painted walls.... it's 980 sq ft, so it's not huge by any means, but again, it's my first place & i live by myself (w/ my dog), so it should be fine.

    So far I have:

    Black Leather Couch/Love seat
Crate & Barrell Parsons glass coffee table & 2 C tables (basically a fancier side table)
2 30" Black Bar Stools w/ black Microfiber
Big Round Black mirror from Target
    Crate & Barrell Wall Clock
I Refinished some really nice 21 year old furniture & I painted that black for my bedroom set
I added a little bit of Burgundy in as well..just like pillows/vases & stuff.

$96k...again, it's my first place, ha.

i feel like i got a pretty good deal on it b/c they are finishing up & want to get the last of the units sold so they can move on to something else. they paid all closing costs (i put 3% down), they added in the $2800 upgrade of stainless appliances & i talked them down in price just a little. i got every upgrade available except the kitchen & bathroom floors are just a laminite that look like tile (that's b/c i plan on putting hardwood floors there & possibly throughout the condo too).

I think you're gonna realize how small it really is once you furnish it. The living area of my apartment is about the same size.

Ironically, it's located in the wealthiest area of the city.....so i think the value can only grow.

Well, I'm 25, single & I think it'll be good for me until I eventually have a family or whatever....I figure I'll be here at least 5 yrs & if I was going to rent I would be paying close to the same monthly, so I can AT THE LEAST get my money back & not lose $700 a month in rent x 12 x 5 yrs or 60 mo's. I've already thrown out enough $$ in rent, which I will never see again.

the 2 BR was about $20k+ more & was only 120sq ft. larger.

It looks very nice on the outside, not saying the inside looks bad, but the exterior definitely stands out. :bigthumb:
