Recession? Fuck, it's shit like this, and guys like Girth, and Jcolman that help counteract the recession :mamoru:

I honestly don't know what the point in buying a camera like this is, when you're rockin in the dslr world, but hey, i'm a nub.

I never know what any of the gear you post is, but it looks cool and seems like it'd be fun to tinker around with :o

I know, it's the most badass font ever. Good thing I did it justice by photographing it upside down

DSLR's are boring. I really don't enjoy using it. Film stuff is far more involved and fun. I like the whole process of shooting (and having to think while shooting)/developing/scanning. This thing is small enought o take everywhere, which is the plan. I can carry a body and 3 lenses in the same size bag as my D300 and one lens. It's basically a glorified take everywhere point and shoot for me, but with real lenses, and real build quality.

Working in a camera store helps, but I literally spend all day at work reading/learning/bullshitting about photogrphy, whether it be books, internet, customers, coworkers. I probably surf around photo sites for 5-6 hours a day. So I learn what I want, and where the best place to get it is. I got the body off a photo forum, the lens I got off an employee from Winnipeg, from the same chain I used to work at, the strap I got custom made from etsy.com (handmade, it's really, really nice).

It is fun :bigthumb: This is a rangefinder, smaller, lighter, better build quality, manual (but quick) focus, better and faster lenses.

    Yes sir :coolugh:
