I wasn't planning on getting an AR for quite a while, I don't really have a need for it, and finances are kinda tight right now, but I know that I definitely want one eventually, so I figured I'd get a stripped lower and hold onto it til I have the $$ to build the gun.

So now I have 2.5 guns, the 10/22 that I plink with, the 642 that I carry, and my CMMG AR lower.

Market Garden came too, and bought a DPMS lower, even though he already has an AR.:mamoru:

Discount Gun on Lake City. They have great prices on some things and insane ones on others, it's strange. I'd prefer to go to Adventure Sports in Lynnwood, but they don't stock anything other than assembled guns.

Didn't you just tell MG that he couldn't buy a new Glock? Oh well, I'm always an advocate for buying more gun stuff.

I suggested that there was no need to buy another $1000 worth of guns when he already has an awesome IDPA/USPSA gun.

Plus this was only $140 after tax. And if things go bad, I won't be able to get it later, he'll be able to get the Glock.:o

  15. Some of the stuff at Discount Gun is just a little more than the best prices that you can find on the internet, which is cool, as I like to support local places. On the other hand, some of their stuff is waaaaay overpriced. They're all pretty nice there though so I like to buy from them whenever I can. They're also only about 10 minutes from where I work, so I can go there during my lunchtime.

  17. No. I don't usually go south. I usually hit up the local stores, or if I'm on my way to my parents' cabin I'll go to Kesselring up in Burlington.
