I rented a Sig and compared it to my brother's Glocks (23/27). The Sig was so smooth and easy to shoot, it won me over instantly. I loved it so much, I ordered one! Sig SP2022 in .40. Comes with 2 12-shot mags, night sights, and a lock.

I'm so freakin excited. This is the first new gun I've ever owned.

    I'm giddy :)

Congratulations on the new/first gun and a Sig at that. It's polymer, but I guess we can let it slide because it's a Sig. :x:

Jesus Christ it really is. I was amazed at how accurate it was.

To clarify, this is not my first gun by a long shot. It's my first brand new gun though. I am SO freakin giddy (last one was a used P89D)

I shot a couple hundred rounds on the 23 and 27 and thought they were ok. The Sig just felt a lot better. Even my brother liked it better than his Glocks.

The "real" sig was about $200 more. This "fake" sig should do nicely.

OOOOH! And WHO took those awesome pics of your new "baby"?
    What skillz she has! LOL
I guess I should feel pretty proud that it's the 1st pistol I will have ever fired/learned to fire with.

I am so happy about your giddiness. It's nice to see you so delighted over something. :)

(now I shall crawl back into my LAOT where I belong.)
Sorry, Gim, I typically don't read your posts anymore, but I had to sneak in and look at the pics ( that I took, thankyouverymuch), and see what people were thinking about that pistol.

I have the exact same thing, but with Mepro night sights.

I still prefer my Glock 19 over the SIG, but the SIG is very nice too. I like the trigger on the glock better, it feels better and resets much faster.
