Yes, I finally got off my ass and bought the bike I've been drooling over for 3 months now. I grabbed a 2004 Yamaha FZ6 in Galaxy Blue. The dealer gave me a very good price so what the hell, might as well stop waiting around. The only problem is I pick it up on Thursday, so this week is going to drag. Oh well, what's another 5 days when you've waited 3 months. :o

I'll post pics when I bring it home. :naughty:

First bike I've owned, but my parents have had bikes since I was in high school. I've been riding for about 6 years.

Hoping to get an SV650S myself in a few months.

New or used will depend on what my financial situation looks like, and whether I can find a good blue one used nearby and for a decent price and condition. :x:

Woot! Just got in. Put 90 miles on it between 6:30 and 8:30. I love this thing.

That's the textile. After I recoup some cash over the winter, I'm going to get the leather version too.

Nice bike laimbeer. I'm usually not one for half-naked bikes, but I like this one. I didn't know they made the FZ6 with a under-seat exhaust :bigthumb:

P.S. Look at those chicken strips....

    Thanks! :)

I was all gung ho for an SV650, but fell in love with the FZ at first sight. I never got to ride it before I bought it, but man, this thing rocks. I left the house before 6 this morning and rode the back roads of RI and CT out to work. This thing is great.

The chicken stripage is less today because I got some nice curves in this morning. Heading out now for a lunchtime ride. :naughty:

I'm 5'9" with a thin build and a large fits me perfect. It's not form fitting around my waist, maybe an inch or so of slack, but fits nice anyway.

Nice bike. With that slack around your waist you can fit a back protector under there.

I'm going to order the Alpinestars slip in protector that is made for their jackets. It has a zipper and velcro inside the liner for the armor.

Here's one more pic, now without that huge ass rear fender:
