damn thing is awesome! i cleaned the bores of all 3 of my .22lrs and both of my ARs in about 2 minutes! my .22magnum barrel was disgusting, but w/ one pass it was spotless!

i didn't use any solvent this time. how do you guys w/ bore snakes usually apply the solvent?

I was told that you fold the snake right where the pulling string meets the fat part, dip that in solvent, and run it through.

If you want to lube hte barrel, put it on the back of the snake to do that.

    man that sounds so dirty.

i put the solven and inch or two in front of the brushes and run a patched jag down for lube.

I use CLP so no need for extra lube at the end of the snake.

Good for getting power fouling out of the bore but does nothing for copper.

Would work good for a handgun since I don't get much copper build up in mine but not for a rifle.
