Got a link to a guide to setting up a trust and whatnot? I've been told it's much easier than dealing with all the other bs to get class 3 shit.

download quicken willmaker, create a revocable trust, print it out

depending upon your state, you will have to do one of two things, notarize it and file with your courthouse

for example though, georgia does not require it to be on file, so simply having it notarized is enough!

:werd: Just downloaded willmaker yesterday and completed a trust in 5 minutes. Going to build a lower and then turn in the paperwork for a SBR in a couple of weeks.

Oh, and sweet .22 you got now, they are a blast to shoot!

    I have that exact model.

I would howver buy one for a 223 bc it can be used on a 22. The other way around doesnt work.

I hope the money order isn't for your tax. You should use a check. Then you KNOW they got it when the check clears. It doesn't slow anything down.

Um, whatever. They don't hold paperwork up for the check. The address you send the form to is a bank. They take the check out, deposit it, and fedex the forms to WV. The check will clear the bank before your forms are in the system.

    Willmaker- Check
    Trust prepared- Check
    Check- Doh!

Thanks for the heads up on the Quicken program though, I decided a trust was the way to go for future NFA items, but I've been procrastinating.

Does the trust have to itemize each NFA item as property or can you simply say "NFA regulated items" as the specified property?

well I just realized I fucked up my paperwork, i didn't send a certificate of trust, this is required!

you have to goto estate planning->certificate of trust, print that out, get it notarized

also i didn't know you had to submit TWO original copies of the form 4, as well as TWO copies the 33020

I am resubmitting them on Monday, as well as some Form 1 stuff for my SBR :)

also, footnote, the form4 and form1 have to be printed front/back, it cannot be seperate pages

Right. Which is a bank. They send the forms to the NFA Branch of ATFE which is in West Virginia. I was a C2 SOT for 10 years, trust me on this, m'kay?
