i think if you would have waited for the sun to go down, right when the sky is deep blue it may have looked better.

crop it so that it's a little bit more towards the center.

too much blackness on the bottom

    Problem Is I work 1PM - 9 PM

Sunset has already come and gone.
Can't just leave my seat I am on an ACD and my bosses are strict about when I can go on Lunch / Dinner / Breaks.

    oh well.
Maybe if I am ever in Town on the Weekends I can try to shoot it at Sunset.
    Thanks for the suggestions.

    Rule of Thirds ? ? ?

I think it would be too ""Centered"" if I remove the Black on the Bottom no ?

Things cutting through diagonally makes an interesting photo too. The diagonalness of the sign would make it look ok centered.

I think because of the way the sign draws your eyes across the picture, then there's nothing but blackness it feels like a bit... isolated

Well it is actually pretty isolated in where it sits anyhow.
just a bunch of abandoned warehouses are in that part of Boston so it's sort of fitting.........

I gotta take a hike up to Salem and try to get some shots of the older colonial parts. Boston's Beacon St would be a fun trip too.

I think it's terribly boring. The color doesn't even pop that much and it's a little soft/out of focus. The building below is quite attractive and visually interesting and not having it in the picture is silly.

Look at the following picture from Flickr:

Now THAT is a much more interesting picture, but it is more of the building, than the sign. Combine your original perspective/composure, with that lighting, or even a little darker light, and your picture would be 100x better than it was.

Thanks for the Input but like I have stated in the past its hard for me to get a sunset / sunrise photo like the one above. I work from 1 PM (Bright Ass Sun) and I get out at 9 PM (Pitch Black)

So I did what I could do under the circumstances.
