    That or the AF assistance lamp isn't worth shit in that camera.

    You know what an AF assistance lamp is and what it does, right? All it does is it sends a white beam of light to the focus area (usually center point, because it can't rotate around) to increase the contrast map in that area so that autofocus and lock easier. It is only useful when there isn't a high contrast gradient in the area already, i.e. when it is very dark. The pictures look like they were taken around daytime-ish or maybe before sunset? You wouldn't need an AF assistance beam in this situation. :hsugh:

    Shut it, i know that already. I was just making a comment that camera lacks this feature for low light focusing. It wasn't really meant to be directly related to this picture, but it came out that way. P&S cameras in this price range should have it. I wouldn't recommend this camera because of this lack of feature. :fawkd:
