I have no fucking life when my roommate is out of town. :o
No, I just stayed up all night last night, so now I can't seem to fall asleep. Instead of laying in bed awake, I decided to be somewhat productive.

I had to prefocus the camera while it was on the tripod (hardest part), and then I put it on timer mode. Press shutter button, strike pose, wait for timer, profit.

Wow, your exposure on this picture really could not have been any better. Also, I really love how much detail you can see on your fingers and above your eye brows.

Also, the grayscale conversion you did was really really good. How did you do it, it looks almost exactly like B&W. I'm really impressed.

For self portraits I use my interval timer, because it focuses just before each shot on my D300.

So I just have it take 3-4 pics and the first one is always OOF because I haven't gotten in the frame yet when it focused, then when I get settled it focuses on me and then snaps pics 2,3,4

Right on the money. I am 20.

My hair probably looks goofy cause I had just gotten out of the shower a few minutes before. Top was Still wet, sides were dry. Did I mention this was at 2 AM? :mamoru:

To get focus right you can always set up your tripod, stand where you would for the photo with your camera, focus it on the tripod, switch the camera to manual focus and then set it on the tripod.

    btw, awesome shot man!
