boot menu screen

    ok so i got a new lap top and it came with vista. well then i downloaded fedora and fedora gives you a multi os boot menu to chose the os. well then i put xp on the computer and now i cant get that menu to come up and just xp directly boots up. how can i change this? is there anything i can do in xp?

    boot a linux livecd and reinstall grub to your mbr

    well i did that sorta. i just did an upgrade install and updated my boot screen. but half way threw the install it says it will not change the current boot status.
