I know you're supposed to have xp with sp2, but I was able to install an XP disk without sp2 on my computer. I found the driver to connect to the internet, got windows update, and when I got to install sp2, it said it could not complete the installation because I need 4 mb more of hd space. I have 17 gb free. So I don't know what to do.

Also when trying to install Windows XP Pro WITH sp2, when I boot off the disk it says "Caldera DR-DOS" and some other lines, and just sits there.

Any way to fix this? I just want to have xp and be able to update and everything. Thanks.

By the way I have a mpb core 2 intel
