So if I put an empty magazine in my AR and pull the bolt back it will stay open but only because its catching the mag once the mag drops bolt slams forward again

    Any ideas?

When looking at the bolt it appears it isnt going far enough back for the manual bolt hold open to catch it :wtf: Almost like the buffer tube is too short

    I mean which tube/spring/buffer brand.

Did it not hold open when you were shooting or are you just messing with it at home?
