I like the regular water drops way better than glittered ones.

you need new subjects, go out into the world and take some photos, most of the stuff you have posted is up close macro photography, which, for the most part is hard to do wrong(which, imo, is hard to say if you are improving or not). pick a theme/subject go out, and take photographs about it and try to make them interesting. sitting at home w/ all the time in the world to set up a macro shot gets old quick ;)

um, macro photography is just close up photography. and im pretty sure those are close up shots(but i could be crazy). my point was its hard to tell if you are improving because most of the shots you have posted are so similar(being that they are all macro, and you have confirmed you know this too in another thread).

macro photography is prone to very shallow dof so this isnt exactly a great showcase for bokeh since your subject tends to fade in and out of focus anyways. thats why usually with higher focal length/zoom lenses with large apertures make for better showcases of bokeh, because you can seperate your whole subject from its background much better and create a background with nice bokeh that isnt blending in with the subject.

No need to be sorry, you didn't have to delete your pictures either.

Just keep shooting, but try some variety of subjects.

DO NOT, give up, cause OTAP doesn't agree.

Must be boring seeing the same shit over and over again, i'm just waiting on my prime lens, when i get that i plan on taking some glamour shots i am getting bored of close ups myself.

By the way, i didn't use a macro lens, i reversed my normal lens.

aw, no need to apologize, i feel like a jerk now. i was just trying to explain why it would be difficult to say how much and if you had improved and why.

then i got into clarification into macro photography(its just close up, you dont need to be in macro mode or have crazy macro lens, even tho they may help)

I'm waiting for some fabric to come through from ebay, once that's here i'm gonna start taking glamour shots, i like applying effort with close ups even if they turn out rubbish afterwards lol.
