i got into some argument with a homo at another board who thinks at 190 pounds having lower bodyfat makes you stronger then if you were doing exact same exercises at a higher bodyfat.

i said that be it 2% bodyfat and 20% bodyfat Strength would stay the same if you were doing the exact same routine workout but just taking in less calories (so that bodyfat reduces and you get a more toned/chiseled look)

do i kinda sorta win? I believe i am right about this but he is being ignorant. im no broly but i do have a Concise belief that if u could have an exact duplicate and have one cut and get a low bodyfat, while orignal keeps his bodyfat and maintaing the same calories etc. Strength would be the same.

uhm, well considering that it would be two individuals, BOTH at 190, and one's at 2% body fat (which is impossible by the way), and the other guy is 190 at 20% body fat, doesn't that mean that the guy @ 2% body fat has more muscle and is therefore stronger?

ignoring the weight of water, bones, organs, etc:
    190 @ 20% bf = 152 lbs muslce + 38 lbs fat
    190 @ 2% bf = 186 lbs muscle + 3.8 lbs fat

more muscle = generally stronger in a hypothetical situation

cliffs: if someone was being an ignorant homo, it wasn't the other guy :hsugh:

oh man, I'm not even gonna go to the links. If you have to cross post on another forum for confirmation of a win in an internet battle, not only have you lost the battle, but you surely are a loser in life as well.

Hypothetically I would say more muscle = stronger. Of course there are always exceptions, but they are just that, exceptions.
