Not that I'm really buff or anything, but say you're a buff guy and you did a heavy shoulder or leg workout one day and can barely lift anything the next. How ironic it is if someone notices this and is like, "WTF, you're so big, yet you can't lift that shoe shelf box? And why are you limping?"

I worked in a stock & display job last year and, thinking about it, it's ironic that I'm trying (and tried) to achieve all this strength and mass yet there were days that I had to tell my co-workers that "I can't lift that today." They must've thought I was a weakling (well, I am :p ).

This hit me last week when I did biceps and triceps and could barely pull my gym bag out of the tight locker.

Anything to add to this? Or anymore bodybuilding ironies?

Tell them you are saving all your strength to work out hardcore the next day, and to lift the shit themselves.

I do see the irony there, since most people will work out for the rest of their lives most of the time they can only use this strength in the gym.

If I owned a gym, I'd put a couch in the weight room with a sign that read "NO SITTING: this couch is for MOVING ONLY!"
