Body worlds is an exhibition that is all real human corpses and organs put on display and perserved perfectly for all time. It's so amazing to see every organ, vein, and muscle in a real human body so close you can touch them. This was the most interesting science thing I've ever seen, it has some great insite into all the organs and muscles and how everything in the body works.

Seriously, if this show is close to you guys, I really think everyone should go to it. It has some meaning to F&N too. One of the big themes was showing healthy organs compared to ones with cancer, blood clots, and hemorages. They had some cool birth defects too. It's kind of disturbing, they are all real humans, but it's something I'll never forget! Makes you feel really mortal.

I saw it in Philadelphia last year. I thought it was really interesting, some of it bordered on gross, but overall it was a great display.

The only problem was the Philadelphia Art Museum had the heat set to sauna levels in the display rooms, so it kind of made you feel sick, not to mention you were spending 2 hours looking at plasticized bodies which didn't help much.

i hope the people signed permission for this to be done.

I think I might be pissed if I knew that 1,000 years from now my body would be on some wimpy exhibit

No, there is a lot of debate over the bodies. They are all from China and are believe to be from Prison Camps where people meet their deaths in different ways.

There is a similar exhibit by the same Dr. called Bodies...The Exhibition:

I went to the Bodies exhibit in Vegas and it was amazing.
