Noticed that Randy Couture mentioned this when Joe was doing this to Yves.

A guy did that to me at my first and only "tournament" so far and I tapped because I felt like I was going to throw up on him. I didn't know it was an actual technique.

can hurt your ribs pretty bad.. but not a great sub

some people call it a "bikini lock" because word is that dave terrell discovered it when he saw one girl do it to another training for a jello wrestling contest.

If I tapped from that I would never compete again!
    Just cross face and push.

    I haven't seen it yet

I also made a thread before about the same tournament..where a guy pulled guard on me, I hyperextended my leg and twisted my ankle   :sad2:

honestly, I sort of don't want to see the video, it was pretty embarrasing :sad2:

I am just trying to get my body into better shape so I will be ready for the fall when I can roll with people again :hs:

Haven't seen this fight yet, but I think i know what you are talking about. If it is the one where you do from your back with the guy in your guard, I think that requires a bit of strength. There is also a body triangle you can do once you have your opponent's back and also have him flattened which is a ruthless submission, hurts like hell...

yeah that leg lock around the body crushing on the lower back and hips, damn what was the UFC fighter name that did that on a ufc fight, he has tatoo on his side that is pretty big, damn that doesnt' limit it down much i guess though, he isn't american and has tat on his side lol, can't think of name though, oh well this is gonna bug me now

edit, nevermind, i remember now it was salavary that did it a while back in ufc, awesome submission to watch, i'm sure it didn't feel good though lol

    KNOCK KNOCK! LOL!
Its a great way of expending energy, no decent fighter would get submitted by that.
