Whats the best place to start.

    Tate's routine says

"Board Press: Warm up doing sets of three reps until you feel you can no longer perform three reps. At this point drop the reps to one and continue working up to a one-rep max."

Should I be starting with 2 or 3 boards? Whats the best time to work up to 4?

    Help a brotha out

doesn't matter which one you use...1-3 board are used for max effort work...4-5 board are used for lockout work

I'm just going by Dave's 8 Point article and the sample routine he gave in there.

week one DEB doesnt even include board presses

Day 4 (dynamic effort bench day)

Bench Press: 10 sets of 3 reps with 60% of 1RM, use three different grips, 45 to 60 seconds rest between sets

Lying Dumbbell Triceps Extensions: 4 sets of 8 reps

Dumbbell Side Raises: 3 sets of 10 reps

Bent Over Dumbbell Side Raises: 3 sets of 10 reps

I understand that... You downloaded the article from me :)

As others have said, stick with the routine as given. This is not the same as the beginners guide, which is this: http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/default.asp?m=PD&cid=207&pid=1079

Combined, the 8 keys and the beginners guide = :bigthumb: , however, pick one of the routines.
