BMW 8 series trim levels?

    Can anyone elaborate on the different 8 series bmw trim levels. also what BMW trim levels usually mean (ci) cause its all kinda a mystery to me.

    Older V12's have less power than the newer V12's. Both are insanely expensive either way. Same goes for the V8.

    C refers to coupes
    i refers to fuel injected, I think

    840ci came w/4.4L V8 Later in production
    850Ci came w/5.4L V12 later in production
    850 CSI only had 5.6L V12 w/around 380 hp.

    the 850csi had the s70 engine, which the mclaren f1's s70/2 evolved from.
