We've agreed once before. I'm not sure exactly on what, but it was a big thread in here. ;)

And like M4A1, I think the previous 7, 740i and 750i in longwheel base too, are all works of art. IMO, It's the best sedan ever made. If someone came to me and told me I had to drive only one sedan for the rest of my life, I'd choose a 740i.

Just watched the vid. I thought that the shitty customer service from BMW centers was only a US thing. Apparently, this is a worldwide practice. That Australian corp rep was complete tool. Is it so hard for a company to admit they made a mistake and correct it? No...they would rather lie and deny and screw the customer. Don't they understand that in this day and age when you screw someone you not only lose them as a customer but you also lose all the people they talk to about the experience??

Here is my exact post from the forum I found the video at (swedespeed.com)

"You'd think they'd do something to keep the customers happy at least. The other car companies would think and go 'wow, we are having a lot of problems and have tried to make people happy. So lets keep them happy so they won't go saying how horrible of a company we are.'
BMW can afford to take some loss. It's not that friggen hard to say you made a mistake, but when you're BMW, you can't do anything wrong."

Word of mouth is one of the best advertising a company can do. And it really made me sick how the Aussie BMW dealer/rep wouldn't admit a problem.

Yup, if they were smart they would fire him and everyone above him. But alas, he probably got an award for that piece of crap that came out of his mouth. Oh, and the vid said he was a BMW Aus corporate spokesperson. Fucking sad.
