Supposed to be like WipEout/Mariocart with weapons and powerups but with conventional cars. Nice neon vibe, could be fun to take acid and game:dunno:
Got a email for a code to dl it, im about to fire up the Xbox and see whats up.

Fuuuuuuck yeah, just finished like 5/6 games on it right now. Game is balls out fun. My eyes are tripping fucking balls, it's just so goddamn colourful, speedy and shit.

Could be the first race game i enjoy since Burnout.

I loooove the emp in the beginning. Sucks that you can't do a solo run but i like the multiplayer
Only 900 people in on it so far though.

Doesn't sound like it has a lot of content (14 cars etc)

So it's somewhere between Vigilante 8 and Burnout but how close is it to either?

Looks more like a weak Burnout with a sprinkling of Vigilante 8 :sad2:

im playing the beta too. i'd describe it as mario kart meets burnout. it's a lot of fun and the cars all seemed balanced.

i was expecting a lot more people playing it though with over 60k codes sent out.

It's more of a combination of new graphics + old school racing games with power ups than a modern racing game with super physics and 11ty real life cars :o

Stuff like this was considered full games back in the day :dunno:

I'm sure it's going to cost $60 just like all the rehashes of yearly sports games are all $60

I love all the chaos and trolling. Used the shunt powerup to throw a nig off a cliff on the LA Docks track:rofl: And they totally dig into the Battlefield/Call of Duty thing people love - leveling up and unlocking cars. They even got a perk system called "mod shop" Session leaderboards/worldwide leaderboards are accessible in the lobby too, for all you K/D ratio faggots you can check your "powerup hit ratio":coolugh:. Just wish they penalised asshat driving.. You can mash guardrails and lose little speed, drive offroad.. ect and keep up with people taking good lines and hitting apexes. The tracks are also wide with simple corners.. guess they were designed with 20 player clusterfucks in mind - I hate those! Im sold on the online stuff (PGR was always good there) just wanna see how singleplay will hold up with bots insted of dynamic human players, and how much content is there.
