    Anything by Sweet Willie Dixon
    Elmore James is just about the frickin king of blues

    Are you looking for Delta blues or stuff that's more modern and fast paced?

    I like the more modern rockin' blues stuff like Kenny Neal, Mighty Sam McClain, Debbie Davies, Ronnie Earl, etc.

    I hear that Joanna Miller is great. She is a newer blues person out of Chicago.

    Oh well.

    Oh, and more modern faster paced stuff. I like the delta stuff, but prefer more modern tunes.

    I'm a big BB King and Stevie Ray Vaughan fan. Some of the old clapton is pretty cool, too.

    try freddi king, wes montgomery (hes a little more jazz than blues), albert king, and as someone suggested earlier elmore james.
