Everytime I get online and try to print something out I get the blue screen that says dumping physical memory. I can't figure out what the hell is wrong. If I print a word document, excel or an email it works fine. It only happens when I try to print from websites. Can someone tell me what's going on and how to correct the problem? :x:

Ah, OK. See, if you were using ME or 98 or something, then there probably wouldn't be a problem, it would just be a normal blue screen. But with XP, a blue screen is unusual.

    Check for viruses and spyware
    Check for printer driver updates

Will do. I hope it's only a printer driver. Could it be a driver when it prints other things but not online?

:eek3: It's an HP 932C. Do they normally have these problems? I've had the printer for a couple of years and it just stareted doing this last week.

That particular blue screen that he is talking about doesn't happen on any other version BUT XP. ;)

Actually it happens in NT4 as well (and probably 2000 since it's on the same platform).

But I wouldn't know that since I've only ever used NT4 at home, and really don't see a blue screen other than at school or when my brother's computer crashes.

I would have guessed it was an all-in-one but any HP inkjet will do the same crap. HP's drivers are a fucking joke. You install one little printer and all of a sudden there's 5 things in your task manager that start with HP. Worst drivers ever!

:werd: to the HP drivers sucking. My Linux open-source HP OfficeJet drivers are far superior to the Windows and especially the Mac ones that came with the printer. It's setup with a jetdirect running over our network and I'm the only computer in the house for whom the printer is actually fully-functional (no one else can scan).

So, what you guys are saying is that it's nothing really wrong with my computer? That it's only the HP drivers? If so, where can I get better/updated drivers for it? Hp's website?
