I have these bluish diagonal lines that go down my monitor. Each line has about 1 inch of space before the next line down. There are bout 20 of them and it's extremely annoying when contrasting with black space. Is there anything I can do to fix them? Just to make sure you guys don't misunderstand me, they're not moving.

try a diffrent display, or boot in to safe mode and see if its there.

is this a CRT or a lcd?

if its a CRT I bet you have a dead video card

one of your pins might be bent on your video card.

Also, make sure you don't have any large magnetic sources next to your monitor. This includes speakers and subwoofers.

if its a CRT, I'd think one of the guns died.
