So I have an old amp (MTX Thunder 801D). It is the only thing that remains after my system was stolen about two years ago. So with the extra audio equipment I have lying around the house, I decided to put some bass in my beater.

RCA & Remote On is connected from headunit to amp.

Amp is grounded on bare metal.

    Power is running from battery.

Amp still does not turn on.

Alpine headunit, subwoofer is not turned off.

Could it be that when they ripped a bunch of stuff from my trunk 2 years ago, the amp could have gotten messed up? BTW, I have never tried using the amp until now.

    Any help is appreciated.
