is it worth the money and time to put an aftermarket supercharger on a 2001 4 runner? what other mods would i need? reliability? how much power would it add? thanks

My S10 runs with my friends supercharged Tacoma... I am really really not impressed.

There used to be a supercharged taco that ran at a track I went to. He ran about even with corvettes, but he also had nitrous, slicks, and traction bars.

Get the Supercharger, 7th injector, and URD fuel kit. Check out www.yotatech.com for your 4runner supercharging questions.

The Toyota TRD S/C kit is a bag of worms...you need to run a million extra add-on components to get it to run right. I would not recommend it at all for a V-6 application.

The 2.7L TRD S/C however, is REALLY nice. If you can get the original Alpine version from South Africa, it's even better.
