    For some reason, whenever I try to download anything, I no longer get the time remaining, how fast things are downloading at stuff (yes, I've pressed Ctrl+J, it says I'm downloading nothing). Whenever I try and save a jpeg, (save as) it never saves it to the computer. HALP!

    EDIT: It works in IE.

    XP = C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR ACCOUNT\Application Data\Mozilla\
    Vista = C:\users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\

    Rename the Mozilla folder's name.
    Start up Firefox and see if you have the same problem.
    If not then you can close FF and go into the old folder and find bookmarks.html and copy it to the new Mozilla folder in basically the same place and then reinstall any other add-ons you had before.

    If you installed an extension or theme recently try uninstalling it to see if that fixes it.

    Mine works perfectly fine and there are times where the site I'm downloading from won't show the time remaining or even the total file size. However it sounds like it's happening to you no matter where you download from, right?
