I've been just kinda monitoring my BP to see if it goes down any, it always has been fairly high (140). For the last couple weeks it has been kinda weird, 130/50... what would account for my diastolic reading being so low but the systolic pumping so hard? Does anyone know of anything that will lower my systolic? I want to be 120. I've been doing more cardio than usual, and also started taking Hawthorne Berry

Take a bath in Epson salts while eating a banana and drinking orange juice.

Vitamin C,potassium and magnesium are all helpful in lowering blood pressure, at lleast for some people.

youre blood pressure is fine. just because its not 120/80 doesnt mean its not

i remember when i use to be a nurse aid...this one lady freaked outbecause her BP was 131/65. she said that she feels faint and her arm was tingly (only after she saw the machine read that). I had the RN come back and explain to her that just because her BP wasnt 120/80 that didn't mean she was having a heart attack. poor lady :hs:

I'm just worried about my diastolic being so low.
