Im looking to order a holster from blade tech for my glock with SF X200, I have two choices, one is a paddle the other is with tec lok system. Im familar with paddle style, but not this tec lok system. Has anyone used one? Really what are the advantages/disadvantages between paddle and belt loop anyways? Thanks all.

I personally dont like paddles. Bigger, and not as secure.

I have the blade-tech OWB paddle holster for range use, and so far it has worked great for me. It's easy to put on or take off, fits the gun great, holds it fairly close, adjustable cant, height and tension and for $19 I dont think theres much that can beat it. I also have one of the blade-tech mag pouches with tek-lock, works well enough but just isnt as secure as the paddle despite handling the same amount of weight and even being higher to the belt line. I've been meaning to swap the Tek-Lok onto my holster to try it, but so far IMO its simply a glorified belt loop that you can lock on.

So between the paddle and tec lok I should go with paddle? This is for range use mostly and maybe carry with a jacket on.
