If it wasn't homocidal, which Replicant would you want at home? I think I would have to take Daryl Hannah.

Y I have the directors cut on DVD with an extended dream sequence. I've always liked AI cuz it deals with a lot of the same pinnochio-ish human vs. robot/puppet type issues. I highly recommend the book too, much more detail and very interesting.

Classic sci-fi film. When they first released the version that doesn't have the beginning narration I got to see it in the theater (I missed it when it first came out) and that was so

I think anybody who's smart enough to know how to type likes Blade Runner. :)

And Deckard was NOT a replicant. :squint:

They were supposed released it again remastered on DVD. But I heard too many people have rights on it or some shit like that.

    well shitballs.

On the edge of Blade Runner is what the documentary is called. I believe it aired on the BBC. I have it but you could probably find it. It aired in 2000.

Which version of the movie is better, the original that had the voice over from Harrison Ford, or the director's cut that didn't?

Directer's cut. Even the people that made the movie agreed that it's the one that should be viewed.

It is easily one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Brazil is great also. I have trouble deciding which is better, Brazil or Blade Runner :o

I recently watched 'Soldier,' because according to a few different sites it takes place in the same universe as 'Blade Runner' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soldier_(film)). But I liked 'Blade Runner' a lot more, mainly the director's cut. The book was ok, but for some reason I got more out of the film.

It is somewhat cheesy, but yea, you should see it.

(cheesy in a "Blade Runner with the music" sort of way, actually :mamoru: )

thought this film was horrible, and yes I am a huge ridley scott fan. However I thought that it could have had better quality in cinematography sets, acting, the whole shibang. I feel this movie was and is very overrated on all levels.

If the movie was shitty as you say it is, then I find it hilarious how it would find it's way to the majority of the top 50 movies of all time lists.

    Apparently you don't 'get it'.:hsugh:
