I can't seem to power my MacBook up without the power adapter. I tried looking online for ways to fix it, I even reset the PRAM or whatever it was. Nothing seemed to work. Just made an appointment for the genius bar and hope they'll just give me a new battery and it will fix itself. :x:

I read the support pages over at Apple and some said that they had to replace the logic board. I don't really want to leave my laptop with them because I use it to take notes in class, so I hope a new battery will do it.

A relative of mine got his MB wet and then it did the same thing as yours...

Reset PRAM also, nothing happened. Took it to the Apple store, and they kept it for 2 days, fixed it, saying the battery connection was loose, and they reseated it.

Never told them about the water though, and now his MB boots really slow, and his CD/DVD drive doesn't work.

Cliffs: Take it to the Apple store, they'll fix it

that happened to mine one time.

i just shut it down, took out the battery for 10 min, put it back in, worked fine ever since, that was like 3 months ago.

The Genius ordered me a new battery and battery connector thing because they didn't have any in stock.
