I really like Dockers City Chino slim fit pants, but after several washes, they aren't satisfactorily black anymore. (100% cotton is to blame?) I would have dry cleaned them, but that's a PITA for $40 pants

So what's a good, straight, slim fit black pant that won't fade in regular wash and isn't crazy expensive? Am I asking too much?

Or should I just Rit Dye these bad boys?

Wool, and you'll have to dry clean or press them

    Cold wash, hang dry :dunno:

That should help it say blacker longer, but it will fade nonetheless.
