    I enjoy my Macbook immensely. Can't really go wrong with either. Unless you need the dedicated graphics, I'd go with the Macbook

    Why? You can get an IBM or Dell with double the power for that price. Unless you have to have a mac.

    I didn't realize it was such a big difference but I can get an exceptionally better Dell for 600$ less

    you can get a 15" 2.0 C2D with a way better video card for a lot less from Dell

    And the MBP vid card is beastly for a notebook card.

    I'd get the MBP over the MB for the screen alone

    the bezel on the MB looks like it was made by Fisher Price

    I didn't mean it's double the power because that makes no sense, but it is overall the same if not better for a lot cheaper
