Black leather jacket, Brown shoes.....

Ok I know girls are all into matching and whatnot, and so I have a question. Usually my clothes match, or I at least pick out clothes that go good together. However, I have a black leather jacket and brown shoes...do girls notice these things (most likely), and does something this seemingly miniscule really make a difference?? Any negative impact?

    yes, they notice.

If thats how you like to dress, don't change it for women though.

You just can't communicate insecurity if she brings it up.

If she says "Whats up with the black jacket and brown shoes," I would grin and say "That's how I roll!"

Yea I hear that. I dress really nice but it's just something I recently thought of. I'm just wondering if it is actually really negative or what.

I'm sure it matters to some girls.

The women I'm interested in wouldn't give a fuck.

But then again, if I tuck my shirt in, I'm considered to be "dressed up" where I live because most of the guys dress like ghetto thugs.

There is something very attractive about a man who can blatently disregard the 'rules of fashion' and look great doing it.

Jenny Mcarthy says that many women will automatically cancel a guy out if she see's him wearing black and brown. I'm sure thats assuming just by sight, without knowing him as a person.

if it looks good it looks good, but i personally wont do it. I wish i had a brown leather jacket, but i dont, so for most of the winter i avoid black dress shoes because i don't have a coat to go with em

edit: and in answer, if it does look bad, which it usually does, women absolutely will notice and assume you just don't know any better

I dont care about matching. As long as it isnt horrible looking together. Sometimes I think people are too matched.

You say you dress really nice, so why don't you have black shoes? Or do you just prefer the way brown shoes look with black leather?

I'd notice, because I always notice a guy's shoes. However unless it looks really terrible odds are I'd just giggle about it, I really don't care. White socks with dress shoes, however... biggest pet peeve ever.

I would notice and I'm pretty sure other women would notice. Then again, I'm pretty sure MEN would notice as well, because you obviously did.

Black and Brown, Blue and Black are colors that do not go well together at all.

just to be clear, we are talking about leather shoes/belts/coat/watch here. these items should either match or be colors that go well together.

brown and black are VERY difficult to pull off

    Yup.

Blue and black do not go together (unless you're a pilot wearing black shoes with a blue uniform).

Black shoes, belt, watch band, shirt colors.

    Or

Brown shoes, belt, watch band, shirt colors.

Metal watch bands, like silver, can go with either. I don't know about gold.

I never even considered it, I used to wear black shoes but recently (before winter) I got some nice brown shoes. I have a black jacket and I never bought a new one and seeing as it's only cold for like 2-3 months I didn't even consider jacket/shoe matching. I really don't see why simple shit like that is so important for girls.
