I'd already used Zaino Z-2. Scott suggested Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze and Carnauba Moose Wax. These pics are just the carnauba over the Z-2. Will do the hand glaze and Carnauba in a few months. Appreciate your advice Scott. Ditching the Zaino for sure now.

Congrats on the ride. Haven't been active much lately and didn't know you had upgraded. Very nice car and nice detail work too.

Nice. Z2/Z5 has it's place...it's the irrational sackriding Zaino zombies that are most annoying. I like Z5 Pro for hiding faint swirls while creating a durable layer of protection. I just don't like having to mix ZFX with it.

The ZFX thing got old. I'm sticking with the Clearkote products for now.

Clearkote is one line that I'm going to be picking up. Scott has convinced me of that.

Hard to beat what CMW does to black paint. I think you will find the durability to be pretty decent as well. I've had several customers ask me to use what I used the last time (which was CMW) because they like how long it lasts.

Looks good, paint gloss is very consistent. Next time, full sun pics are the best way to see the condition of the paint. :bigthumb:

I love the Clearkote stuff on my Trailblazer. I used either the Moose Wax or Vanilla Moose (I can't remember which one now) on my C230 and it looked pretty good, but I need to clay my Benz. My Trailblazer needs some serious help (meaning more than I can do with a dual action) though.

That does include fellow OT member remington, whose black TT has now been slathered in CMW twice. ;)

Works great on any color, gives a noticable improvement in depth and a slight darkening effect.

looks great. i'm a zaino zealot myself.

usually just 3 layers of Z2 with ZFX does the trick. I may try the Z-CS, which is supposed to add depth and be great.

A quality sealant or wax should give plenty of depth/gloss/shine in ONE application.

Even some of the Zaino guys plus ALL the non-Zaino people on Autopia agree that Optimum Opti-Seal looks noticably better than Z-CS. Same application method too.

Damn. It has been awhile since I waxed the car. Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze today then Carnauba Moose Wax. Car looks great. The glaze was a bit hard to buff off by hand but the carnauba just wipes right off with stellar results. Love that stuff.
