would flash fill have helped at all???
Your dog looks pretty well trained (at least you could get him to sit and let you snap a pic). These pictures would be greatly improved if you found a less cluttered background, the dog and his expression look good.
awww pittah awwww! nice dog!
Yeah, some fill flash and a better background next time, but keep postings pics, he's cute!
thanks, here is some more snap shots.. just for fun haha..
im still just learning to use m mode...
The mouth open one wins for me.
This one looks cool
The 1st two you posted are too much "i gotta go by the rule of thirds". There is nothing wrong with centering your subject.
Setting your EV comp at 0 (and not -2/3) is a start, before adding light.
edit: n/m you are shooting manual, so my advice is going to change to slower shutter speed.
yea ill work on centering some of them.. some odd reason it doesn't seem like the turn out as good.. but who knows..
when its sunny out is it better to shoot wide open?? or to close it a little bit??
That's more of a function of the DOF you want, and how much light you want, rather than anything to do with the sun.
well for fast action shots like him jumping, i need to shoot open to get the most light so its not blurry, right?
