rounded corners, matte finish
Sexy... should i call you today, or just wait a bit?
call me now baby
I admit... i like it. simple, to the point, and it POPS.
Kinda 70's ish.
I like it.
thanks folks. I like it too
anyone not like it or have any suggestions for changes?
not rly. At first I was going to suggest changing the colors in the bars to the traditional blue>green>red>yellow scale but then I said no...it's different and I like it the way it is. Very subtle use of the color scale.
I like it also and I think rounded corners will look great on this
what color is the other side going to be?
what are you going to do if you need/want to write a note to whomever you're giving it to?
i don't like the font. looks to cheap to me
and have you looked at it to scale yet?
kinda agree.. the big font is kinda meh.. the smaller font looks okay..
i think its because the card pops so much that the font doesnt match.. sleeker font = win
you have all the elements there that i like. i would shift everything a tad to the left and change the font. maybe you can play around with the spread of the letters. other than that, nice colors. simple and
What kind of design? 'Design' could mean almost anything
I can't speel.
Looks great...has a nice retro feel to it.
the back is white
I've also done it in Georgia and a few other serifs, but none are very exciting. what would you suggest?
yep - looks great!
yea I thought about that issue. it's visual design like websites, flyers, brochures, magazine & newspaper pages, business cards, layouts, etc. how do I say that on a biz card?
Here's an alternate using Museo Sans for the main text (contact info is in Myriad Pro). I like this one a little better, personally
Myriad Pro > *
What about 2D design? That rules out a large chunk of design and narrows it to your general skill area.
mmm that's a good suggestion
i just typed a long fucking critique and hit backspace FTL, heres the TLR version:
this card says you're a designer, but it shows no design. you need to prove it with your card.
i have some time here on this friday afternoon, maybe i can whip something up with what you have?
if it were only for photography, its okay
for design, its bad.
to me it shows no design skills. but maybe i'm just being an ass
i agree with the comments about 'design.' seems you're into graphic design, but that seems to be a controversial label nowadays.
