BitTorrent.

    Well i just downloaded this program and im DLing two files right now, slow as HELL, but anyways.

    I've never DLed on p2p progs due to virri and stuff, is there viruse's in bit torrent files?

    Is there anything else i should know?

    the low down on bittorrent from whiteys world.

    I work for an ISP. all of our violations we get come from torrent users. i will never use torrent. you are going to go to jail

    There is always the chance of download a virus when using p2p software. Having a decent virus scanner should keep you in the clear tho.

    DC++ and BitTorrent are both used for illigal practices. The *only* legitimate file I know of on Torrent is a few Linux Distros.

    And dispite what people think, it is *VERY* easy to trace bittorrent downloading.
