Bittorrent and ports

    I'm on a cable modem, and I get speeds of 0-1 kbps ALL of the time. So I hear about changing ports, but I have no idea what that is. Please help. And any other bittorrent info would help, too.

    through your router. and if you dont know how to do that, then
