Bitch slapping the CoC #3 one crunk at a time

    There is my slow but steady progress with the #3. I hope to be closing it in any fashion by Jan 1st.

    I prefer the feel of Ironmind but the HGs are a great product for anyone looking just to increase strength, and they are cheaper.

    So what's the routine on this like?

    I figure it'd be pretty stupid to do this on days when you, say, deadlift, as the grip will be shot to shit?

    This is what I've been doing.

    Monday/Friday: Useing the CoC3 15 Max effort singles throughout the day making sure I feel recoved to do the next. Hold just long enough that you know you can't get it any closer.

    Tuesday/Thursday: Useing the HG300 3-5 singles following the same guidelines.

    Wednesday: Useing the CoC2 5-7 burn out sets thoughout the day. Ends up being 7-12 reps. Last rep is a hold for 3-5 seconds.

    I dont really change my regular workouts. But always deadlift double over hand till failure before alternating grip.

    This week I changed it up a big and took out 1/2 of the heavy days reps and put in a lot of pinch grip work.

    thats how far I"m getting...almost exactly. I just tested my 3 again right now and its damn close :big grin:

    ...I'm sad that I left all of my heavier grippers at home. I only brought my HG150, HG200 and CoC #1 out to FL with me. I think I'd be ready to close the CoC#2 pretty soon.

    i accidentally broke 2 of my friend's fingers by squeezing his hand 2 hard in like 5th grade, musta had a calcium deficiency or sumpin.

    well with most bodybuilding its to get stronger so that i have better stamina, etc. but i dont get how enhanced grip strength translates into anything really useful
