    handing down the trusy XT and 24-85 lens to the wife since she wanted to start getting into photography

    she is already talking about getting an external flash and more lenses and stuff, lol :o

    i've been having a blast with mine the past couple of days.

    i thought live view would be cheesy and pointless, but it's nice for just dicking around.

    no I wish, 17-85 IS

    I got a good deal on the kit, $1599, it came with the 200DG bag (which I don't need :o) an extra battery and the 17-85

    I just bought a 100-400L today though :fawk:

    after playing with the XT for the last few days the wife was bugging me about getting a zoom lens so I took that as a chance to upgrade my lenses :mamoru:

    paid about $150 too much but I'd rather support a local vendor then get it over the internets :o

    the grip and hood for the 17-85 came from BH today :bowdown:


    the grip balances it out even better then the grip balanced out the XT :coold:
