birth control question

Discussion in 'Vaginarium' started by chainsawbarbie, Mar 2, 2005.

  1. So I'm taking alesse-28, and i am on my first month.

I'm on my third placebo pill, and I still haven't gotten my period.

Is this normal? I think I'm going to stop by planned parenthood tomorrow, in any case. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this

I dont get my period until day 4 of the sugar pills, give it a few more days. Since this is your first month, your body has to get use to it. PP should have given you a preg. test before placin you on the pill. If they didnt and you think that may be the issue, then go back to them. Chances are, you will get your period over the next 1 or 2 days.

I used to take this stuff if your only on your first months of pills you should be fine. My doc advised me that it would take at least a month or two if not three in some cases for your body to completely adjust to the pills.

  7. I know I'm not pregnant. I had my period before I started pills (without sex in between), and I haven't had sex since I started my pills (long distance relationship)

Stopped by Planned Parenthood, and they said that it was normal to even skip your first month.

    I feel so relieved.

    Thanks for the responses
