bios password problems

    so i bought this iBook at auction a few weeks ago and i wanted to install the new version if OS X and to my suprise i'm locked out of the Bios so i can't boot to teh cd Drive. does anyone know of a way i can get around that. i had heard the rumor that i could add or remove ram and it would reset, but that didn't work. any more suggestions?

    Not sure if it will make a difference, reset PRAM with cmd + opt + P + R, hold till you get 2 chimes.

    OR try rebooting to open firmware and resetting NVRAM(but it might ask for the password)
    cmd + option + o + F on boot.

    type:
    reset-nvram
    reset-all <-- this reboots the machine.

    Does the machine boot to an OS or was it wiped clean?
