Attempting to access my BIOS setup or the boot menu (dual-boot Ubuntu) produces nothing but a cursor, however if I let it go I can obviously get to Windows fine. The only issue I'm currently aware of is that I need a CMOS battery, I keep losing my system time. Would that cause this?

I don't know if the CMOS battery would interfere with you being able to access your BIOS... i've never had that happen when my battery dies.

But, if you know you need the battery, why don't you get that replaced first. Then see if anything changes. I mean, its not like replacing the CMOS battery is hard... or expensive.

    RadioShack is your friend.

They're not good for much these days... but little shit like that they can still manage.

A buddy of mine has a repair shop, I'll snag one off a otherwise useless mobo.
