Is there another program aside from VCD gear that does programs instead of mpg/video? Here the thing i gotta .rar that i open and it has a .bin and a .cue but vcd gear apears to only open stuff for mpg/video. Any idea what progam may work?

What you have are the contents of a CD. The bin file is that actual data on that CD and the cue file tells whatever burning software your using how to burn that CD. Nero is the burning software of choice for most poeple. I like it but my brother uses Fireburner, to each his own. When you burn the CD, make sure you tell whatever software your using that your burning an image. For example in Nero 5 its under the File menu and in Nero 6 its un the Record menu. Once you click 'Burn Image' Nero then prompts you for the image to burn and then burns the CD. If you dont select 'Burn Image' and add the Bin and Cue files to a data CD will only burn those two as those two files not as the CD image like you want. I prolly went into to much detail but alwell. Hope this helps.

if you want to just open the file and not burn it as a CD (BIN/CUE are CD image files)

get Alcohol 120% or 60% and mount it as a virtual drive.

you can also try Daemon tools but I prefer alcohol 120%

I use daemon tools for drive emulation, and WinISO to convert bin images to iso (iso = smaller img file and more commonly supported). I have alcohol120 also, and it does have more robust options than daemon, but it's also less convenient to use if you change images frequently.

If what you're viewing is a movie file, you simply load the .bin into that player and it will play it. No need to mount or burn.
