Found a decent source of billet uppers- same company that makes them for Larue is what I'm told.

Price will depend alot on the number interested- but they will be less than Larue by a decent amount either way (sub $200).

I've heard a couple different things.

As for the finished product- it looks much much better then the pics they have of their unfinished ones.

It looks like a pretty decent upper. I do like billet. I wish somebody would make a billet upper cut for a left hand side-cocker with no rear charging handle opening, then take off the forward assist, but leave the deflector. That would be some ill shit.

 Now if potroast were just here to tell you how stupid you were for wanting (or not wanting, whatever) a billet upper about 100 times in a row this thread would be complete.

    YESSSSSS!!!!!!

I've been contemplating a Spikes Tactical Side-Charger for a 9mm build, but this gets rid of the forward assist (another thing I don't care about on the AR platform). I tried coercing Sun Devil into doing such a thing... but they said hell nah.

That side-cocker sounds pretty badass. Anyone have any pictures?
