Finally discovered the secret to pulling 405- don't do it on a fucking volume day I always try after 365 for 5, then am too tired to get it more than 6" off the floor. Anyway, this puts my total at 975 or so, If I don't hit 1000 in my first meet in a month, I'll be pissed as shit. Anyway, I figured I had said I had gained 50+ lbs in the 7 months since I have been lifting, so I minus well post up some progress shots. I never took real progress pics, so I jsut have a few pics here and there with all my clothes on, but you get the idea. This is me at 6'2, 155 or so, looking like I just got out of a concentration camp. This is roughly a year ago, but I put on a total of 5lbs or so of fat between then and when I started lifiting (and more importantly, eating) in early January. Scary, huh? When I started lifting, my max squat (nowhere near parallel) was maybe 155, DL was 185-225ish DW style, and BP on a good day was 135 bouncing off my chest. Here is me after training today @ 214 Squat= 365 DL= 405 BP= 185 5RM, so 205 *maybe* 1RM C&J= 180 Please note I am awful at flexing, but I tried Yes, I know I have a googly eye that rivals dongsy and elfling. No, I will not take ass shots in thong. Serious thanks to Klown, Maine, Chris, and everyone else who has helped me on my path, this place has helped a ton and given me loads of inspiration.
