A 315lb bench has been a big goal for me since I hit 225lb a couple years ago.

    Today I hit a solid unassisted 315 x 2. Raw of course.

Now my next goal is 405lbs. Prolly be a few more years for that one to fall.:coolugh:

5 X 5 variations for a couple years. That got me to 275 fairly quick. Lately Ive been focusing on lat and trap development. Then I switched to Pur's routine for few months. Lately its just been preburning the chest with dumbell flys and then going into the pressing movements.

Honestly, I attribute some of my recent strength gains to using the proper music + attitude to get absolutely furious before heavy sets.:noes:

Good work. Keep it up. My gains after 250 were fairly slow. Keep pounding away.

Immediate goal is to pound out some working sets of 315. 5 reps will be a sweet step.

    Thanks bro!
